To go further: a system update starting in October.

To improve delivery accuracy and operational quality, an update to order preparation and courier arrival predictions will be officially launched from September 2025.

What’s changing ?

Until now, our arrival prediction system relied mainly on the preparation time manually entered by restaurants.

A method that was sometimes inaccurate, as it didn’t always reflect reality.

Starting in August, the system is evolving!

Preparation time will no longer be defined solely by the restaurant manager.

It will be calculated by the Smood algorithm, based on order content, preparation history, and other field data.

Most importantly, status updates become essential:

The waiting compensation will now be linked to proper status updates – no longer based solely on the notion of “delay.”

Why does it matter?

Currently, 40% of orders are not updated correctly, which distorts predictions and affects customer satisfaction.

The new system rewards partners who follow procedures and use the app properly.
